Marvel Studios dropped the very first Doctor Strange trailer on Jimmy Kimmel Live! tonight, and you can feast your eyes on it after the jump. Which is a roundabout way of saying it's been tough to guess exactly what Doctor Strange might look like - but now we no longer have to. And although Doctor Strange will be the 14th film in the overarching Marvel Cinematic Universe, it'll be the first to dive deep into the psychedelic, mystical outer reaches of that universe. Benedict Cumberbatch stars as the surgeon-turned-sorcerer, while director Scott Derrickson works his magic behind the camera. The object in the live-action film Doctor Strange has been referred to as a "relic." The cloak's primary function is to allow the wearer the power to float and levitate.Over half a century after he was first introduced in the pages of Strange Tales #110, Doctor Strange is finally conjuring up his first live-action big-screen feature this fall. The Levitation Cloak is depicted as a powerful magical mask worn by Doctor Strange. Doctor Strange is described as the most powerful sorcerer in the universe and more powerful by far than any of your fellow humanoids by Infinity, the sentience of the Marvel Universe. Strange was an experienced neurochirurge before nerve injury affected his paws. Strange also wields mystical items, including the Cloak of Levitation, which enables him to fly the Eye of Agamotto, an amulet whose light is used to combat evil magic the Book of the Vishanti, a grimoire with comprehensive knowledge of white magic and the Mirror of Agamotto, a crystal ball used for clear-sightedness. Doctor Strange is a realistic wizard who draws his powers from magical entities such as Agamotto, Cyttorak, Ikonn, Oshtur, Raggadorr and Watoomb who give spells their strength. In The Amazing Gwenpool # 3, Uncommon encounters Gwendolyn Poole who shows herself to be from a world in which all Marvel characters are fictional figures in comic books. Strange returns to New York City after completing his education and sets up residency in the Sanctum Sanctorum, a townhouse in Greenwich Village, and is then aided by his personal assistant Wong As the Ancient One's prophet, Strange battles the Nightmare force and other worldly enemies before encountering Dormammu, an alternate-dimensional warlord called the "Evil Dimension." He is allowed to leave unchallenged as Odd helps to scare the wild Senseless Ones off a vanquished Dormammu and return them to their gaols. Strange soon becomes Mordo's most powerful foe, as the Ancient One introduces the healer to the mystic arts.
The Ancient One, pleased with Odd's sincere heart transformation, welcomes the Westerner and immediately frees him from the restraining forces while revealing that he has already been aware of Mordo's treachery. Strange happily and selflessly accepts the Ancient One's offer to become his pupil to get a chance to rescue the old man after a battle with Mordo leads him to be shackled with spells preventing him from either battling Mordo or warning the Ancient One.
He's failing but Strange's patriotism emerges when he sees Baron Mordo, the Ancient One's disciple, attempting to kill the old man. The Ancient One fails to help Odd because of his ego but feels a optimistic side that he is seeking to bring to the surface. Different, almost destroyed, tries out the magic of the past. Depressed and still searching, it happens that Strange overhears two sailors talking about an hermit called the Ancient One in the Himalayas who can cure any ailment. Strange is a drifter after the finances have been exhausted. Too hopeless to find a teaching job, Odd actively looks for a way to regain control of the motor in his hands. His hands tremble uncontrollably leaving him unable to carry out surgery. The bones in his hands are fractured in a car crash, causing severe nerve damage.
